A trip to Mexico in the 70's was the encouragement for mudbrick artisan Les Fisher, to design and construct “Mexicali Rise”. Rustic touches, such as hand-hewn beams, reclaimed brick floors, curved, exposed brick interior walls and glass bricks complement thick mud brick walls in a home that provides unique spaces while delivering completely practical liveability.
A clever transformation has taken the organic materials of the original interior and skilfully blended them with carefully considered contemporary touches to create a timeless haven of inspired family living.
